03/10 - March 5, 2005 - Red River - North Louisiana

What a fantastic day this was. Gayle and I got to make new friends with 42 teams today, and fishing conditions were almost perfect. Thirty six of the forty two teams brought a 5 fish limit to the scales with Joey Hood And Mike Echols takeing the win with 21.87 pounds.

I can't remember ever weighing in so many 4 pound fish in one event. It seamed that everyone had at least one 4 pounder in their bag. The Red River is certainly a great fishery that we in Louisiana should be proud of.

Thanks to all of the fishermen who came out to support us at our first North Louisiana event. We hope to see all of you at Caddo Lake on April 9th.
