What can I say? but, Thanks, for your support and encouragement to veryone who took part in this largest tournament in Media Bass history (sixteen years worth). Malakoff Bait and Tackle, thanks! All the anglers who brought Little League Contestants, thanks! Horton Homes, Interstate Batteries, Pure Fishing (Berkley and ABU Garcia), Lake Fork Tackle, Valeo Support Braces, Lowrance Electronics, Brown's Boat Repair, Pro Rule Measuring Boards, MotorGuide Trolling Motors, and Sure Life Labs. (Please Release Me).

Have I missed anyone? Hope not. Oh yea, Cedar Creek Lake! The Top-4 stringers were over eighteen pounds and there were four bass over eight pounds weighed in.

Congratulations to John Maxey of Texarkana for his winning stringer of five bass 21.49 lbs. worth $2,500.00. Second Place angler Ryan Donaldson of Grapevine, TX with 19.77 lbs. for $1,200.00, and Steve Smith of Gun Barrel City, TX finished 3rd Place with 18.47 lbs. to take home $750.00. Big Bass #1 went to Jim Koczka of Belton, TX at 8.41 lbs. worth $750.00 and Big Bass #2 was won by J.D. Elliott of Rowlett, TX with a 8.23 lb. bass for $225.00.

There were fourteen Little League anglers (boys and girls) competing for a brand new Mountain Bike. And the winner is....... Aaron Maxey of Kennedale, TX (not related to John Maxey, brought by dad, Darrell Maxey) with a 3.82 lb. bass. Second Place went to Matt Duff of Highland Village, TX (brought by dad, Kirk Duff) for a 3.65 lb. bass and he took home a new Bassin' Rod.

The next Individual Trail tournament will be at Lake Bob Sandlin on March 26th at the Titus County park located near the dam (near the Administration Office). Friday Night Registration will be held between 6-8 p.m. at the Best Western of Mt. Pleasant, TX (903)572-5051. Hope to see you all there!
