Eddie Shaw made his bid for Big Bass of the month Saturday when he caught a 10.05 pound Caddo Lake lunker that anchored his and Jeff Pates winning steinger of 24.54 pounds. Eddie said that this was a nice fish, but the one he lost just 10 minutes earlier was much bigger. Jeff and Eddie moved into the lead for Anglers of The Year with their win.

Scott Moore and Todd Iman had a good day on Caddo also bringing in 5 bass that weighed 21.25 pounds for second place. The other teams finishing in the money were Dennis Mitchell and Joe Therrell in third with 15.65, Terry Burghart and Russ McVay forth with 13.83, George Hodges and David Parker fifth with 12.68, Ronnie Madole and Glenn Robertson sixth with 12.16, and Ray Welch and Kevin Black seventh with 10.81.

Our next stop will be at Toledo Bend on May 7th out of the Converse Landing. This will be the third tournament of the season and the points race should start to heat up.We look forward to seeing each of you there.
