03/18 - March 12, 2005 - Cedar Creek Lake, TX - Central Team Division

What an exciting weigh-in that was at Cedar Creek on March 12th. The lead changed a couple of times and each time was by less than a pound. At the end of the day, the Top-4 teams each had over 20 lbs.

A total of seventeen checks (including Big Bass) were paid out to the 80 teams partcipating at Sunny Glen Marina (903)489-3506. Finishing in First Place wa the team of J.D. Green and David Murphy who weighed-in 20.84 lbs. Second Place was the father and son team of Jesse and Michael Edgett with 20.71 lbs. Michael ended up fishing the tournament with his father after two attempts with other anglers fell through. Well, Jesse ended up catching the Big Bass of the day, a beautiful 9.41 lbs. worth. Third Place team was Russell Lee and James Lowe with 20.59 lbs. Fourth Place team of Steve Holland and Rick Allen had 20.09 lbs. All of the Top-3 teams and Big Bass winner received custom plaques courtesy of Bass Cat, Mercury Marine, and Renfro Marine and Outdoors (972)230-3466 of Lancaster, TX.

This tournament was the second of the six tournament series for the Central Division. Next month, April 9th, will take this fine bunch of fishermen to Richland Chambers (located near Corsicana, TX). Headquarters will be at the oak Cove Marina (903)872-0888.
